When they started their family, Stephanie and Brian Hall knew it was just a matter of time before they would have to move out of their two-bedroom, south London flat. 'We already had Ollie, ' says Stephanie who used to be a trademark attorney, 'but hoped to have more children, so we really wanted somewhere with more space and a garden.' The house they chose was in the same area and had lots of potential. 'It was a three-bedroom semi with laminate flooring and 80s double glazing that didn't work very well, so it definitely needed updating. But we knew that with a few alternations, we could be a great family home.'
