The historic timber framed Hall is very beautiful and has enormous character. After the Guilds were dissolved by Edward 6th in 1547the building went back into domestic use and for the last 50 years has been an antique shop latterly belonging to photographer Angus McBean. Famous for his portraits including those of Vivien Leigh. which ultimately won her the role in 'Gone With The Wind' and of course album cover shots of the Beatles McBean and his partner had lived in the Hall since the 70s.
