Initially, when Nerida and James first bought the Californian bungalow on Sydney's north shore, the couple had planned to demolish the building and replace it with a contemporary home. But instead, they slowly began to fall in love with the soul of the house, with all its little details. The solution: a complete rework of the floor plan and an injection of stylish tranquillity.
